Meet Jessica
Hi! I'm Jessica, and I'm so happy you're here! If you're interested in getting to know more about my story and my business, here are a few highlights!
At around age 16, I knew I wanted a career in the beauty industry. Connecting with other women, hearing their stories, and helping them feel like the best, most confident version of themselves, I mean, doesn’t that sound like the dream? Right out of high school I attended The Paul Mitchell School, and obtained my cosmetology license at age 18. I spent about a year behind the chair cutting and coloring before realizing that bridal makeup and hair is where my heart truly lies.
Shortly after, I had the opportunity to live in Hawaii (yes, it was as dreamy as it sounds!), a top-tier global wedding destination, where I spent 6 months working on an incredible wedding makeup and hair team. Being surrounded by that level of artistry and energy really solidified that this is exactly what I wanted to do.
I moved back to Upstate New York in 2016 and officially started my business- formerly Jessica Lynne Hair and Makeup (the OG clients remember!), and I rebranded my business name to Serene Beauty in 2023.
Since 2016, I've had the honor of doing between 45-70 weddings each year.
Along the way, my love for skincare grew too. In 2025 I attended The Aesthetics Science Institute, and obtained my esthetics license. Now I offer facial services in addition to bridal beauty, and am helping client’s have the best skin of their lives, and helping bride’s prep their skin for their wedding days.
When I’m not working, you’ll catch me still working on ways to grow and elevate my business (business owner life), or doing anything active and intentional. I love taking walks, reading, practicing yoga, and spending time with those closest to me. But don’t let me fool you- I also love to indulge in meals out and sweets treats!

The Serene Beauty Experience
I provide on-location makeup and hair services for brides, and bridal parties, throughout the New York Capital Region Area, and beyond. I also do bridal trial runs, special event makeup and hair, and facial services in my salon suite in Latham, New York.
Wedding mornings can feel chaotic, but that's not what I bring. I bring a calm, organized, "we're good, everything's handled" kind of energy. Brides often tell me it feels like they're getting ready with an old friend, which is one the best compliments I could get!
My goal is to not only for you to look amazing, but for you to feel amazing. And to feel calm, confident, and Serene.
Every makeup and hair look is customized just for you. An in-depth consultation is part of every service, to truly get an idea of what will make you feel the most beautiful, confident, and comfortable. Makeup and hair styles are by no means a one size fits all experience. Each look is tailored to you, and your goals. From the most natural looks, to high glam, I have you covered!
